5 Free Daily Practices for Easy Self-Care

It's easy to get caught up in the hustle of day to day life and forget how important we are. When that happens, it's okay to take a step back and reevaluate ways you can pamper yourself a little extra. Self-care should be as much of a priority as maintaining friendships, work relationships, and reaching goals.

Check out our list of 5 easy-to-do self-care routines, without spending loads of money.

Journaling

Whether you start or end your day with this, journaling is a proven way to break down mental and emotional barriers while letting yourself vent. Don't hold negative feelings that can cause harm to your daily state of mind. Pick up a pen, grab your journal, and write about the things racing through your mind. Nobody's going to read what you say unless you choose to share it!

Masturbating

We can all agree an orgasm is a GREAT way to relieve stress. When you reach your high and those endorphins release, it's the ultimate 'fresh breath of air'. It can be a solo act or you can include your partner in the fun and increase that nice calming feeling that comes afterward.

Yoga

Great for getting in a killer workout and increasing flexibility, yoga can assist with more than your physical health. There are many apps or videos online that allow you to take up the sport of relaxing without the high cost of joining a class.

Dress comfortably

It's true that we all feel more comfortable when we're not dressing to impress. If you can get away with not having to dress for somebody other than yourself during your daily routines, go for it! However, if you have to wait until you get home for the day, shed those tight clothes and relax into the warmth and comfort of something that leaves you feeling as soft as a feather.

Let yourself feel

Emotions can be hard to process, and that's okay. Ignore the days of bottling in your feelings only to explode. You should always take the needed time to wallow in your feelings and let yourself feel. A good cry can help you release pent up emotions and relieve you of anxiety and stress.
