Mike is the founder of Psychosexual Somatics® Therapy (PST). He came to public awareness through Naomi Wolf's best-seller, Vagina. He is trained as a Psychosynthesis Counsellor, bodyworker and clinical sexologist, amongst other things. His studies in these fields and in trauma therapy, neuroscience, and tantra have each contributed to the flavour of his work.

Mike Lousada and Louise Mazanti, PhD. are psychotherapists specialising in intimacy, embodiment and trauma.  As a couple, they have dedicated their lives to transforming our relationship with sex and intimacy, as a way of serving the new, emerging paradigm of consciousness, wholeness and community. They teach individuals and professionals globally, including at the Esalen Institute in California, across Europe and in Moscow.

They both have private practices in London and around the world working with individuals and couples.  Their clients include celebrities and international corporate CEOs. They are co-authors of the Hay House published book, Real Sex: Why everything you learned about sex is wrong (2017), available in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
